We are packing our bags and journeying to the wild coastline of the Causeway Coast, Northern Ireland. Our three day restorative wellness retreat will be held at the luxurious Cloughorr Estate. Boasting stunning ocean views of the North Antrim coastline, cosy wood burning fires and its very own rehabilitative dipping lake.


  A rejuvenating three day retreat that revitalizes, relaxes and inspires in equal measure and will breathe clarity and balance back into your life. If you want time to fully reconnect in a wholesome and supportive environment then this retreat is for you.

Accommodation and location:

 

We’re taking over the incredible Cloughorr Estate, a nine bedroom modern luxury estate standing proud along the wild Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland. The rooms are modern and spacious with extensive grounds, cosy wood burning fires, calming ocean views and its very own dipping pond. We run our retreats family style, some bathrooms and all common areas are shared.

Food:


 Fueling the body is a vital part of retreat life. Food is nutritious, hearty and vegetarian with focus on setting up the body and mind for the retreat's programme. Bright, flavorsome and all prepared by our in house cook. We also cater to your specific dietary requirements should you have any. 

Activities

Morning Hatha Yoga, Breath Work, Silent Sitting and Active Meditations

 We start the mornings as we mean to go on, gentle hatha yoga to awaken the body followed by a breathwork practice and meditation.   

Guided Deep Healing Meditation with Professional Harpist

 Lie back and just be, as you allow yourself to let go as you follow gentle instruction in this guided meditation practice and feel through the emotive sound of live harp music from our very own professional musician. 

Conscious Movement Meditation Workshops

 Challenge your idea of relaxation and immerse yourself in music and movement. Guided movement mediation is not only fun but deeply powerful and emotive in reconnecting with the self and finding clarity.    

Guided Mindful Discovery walk

 Rugged cliff top walking; come experience the natural elements of the Causeway Coast and allow them to awaken your senses,  literally, embracing the wind, rain and sun, whatever nature has to offer us, use it to your benefit. We walk 4 miles along breath-taking cliff top views. Spotting Scottish islands, remote bays and the awe-inspiring Giants causeway.  

Holistic Massage

Have the option of adding a holistic massage to your programme with one of our experienced in-house practitioners. A deeply restorative addition to the retreats itinerary.

Ocean Dip and Empowerment Circle (Optional)

 Harnessing the power of cold water is nothing new; written in ancient text from moons ago, its revitalising, energising qualities still firmly hold true today. Never has it been more effective in engaging both body and mind into the present space, awakening the senses and releasing the mind of tension and unnecessary thinking, and trust us when we say it feels incredible. 

Challenge yourself and feel free to join in on a cold water dipping therapy, allowing yourself to find freedom and community in something as simple as a cold dip.

  • 19:00 – 21:00 Conscious movement meditation workshop 


Day Two

  • 07:00 Awake for herbal tea 
  • 07:15 - 08:45 Hatha yoga and meditation  
  • 08:45: Breakfast  
  • 09:45 – 13:00  Mindful discovery walk   
  • 13:00 – 14:00 Optional ocean dip and empowerment circle 
  • 14:00 Lunch: Healthy and vegetarian 
  • 15:00 - 18:00: Personal time, journaling, self meditation
  • 18:00  Dinner: Hearty, wholesome and vegetarian  
  • 19:30 – 21:00 Deep healing meditation with professional harpist 


Day Three

  • 07:00 Wake for herbal tea 
  • 07:15 – 08:45 Hatha yoga and meditation  
  • 08:45 - Breakfast 
  • 10:00 – 12:00 Conscious movement meditation  
  • 13:00 – Lunch: Hearty healthy and vegetarian  
  • 14:00 – 15:00 Meditation and group round up

Meditation isn’t all about sitting still, oh no - in fact quite the opposite depending on your style. Meditation through movement and sound to attain thoughtlessness and connectivity are sometimes more effective depending of the person at the particular moment. In a playful non-serious way, become an inquisitive child and allow yourself to be free of judgement and tension as we move the body to free the mind. 


 Whether you are a first timer with an open mind or a meditation pro, our retreats are always unlocking new layers of the self; as any meditator would know: no two meditations are ever the same.

Utilizing life's tools to explore, discover and connect with the self through exploratory meditation practices and harnessing mother nature. He’s open, laid back and passionate with all things wild and his welcoming nature will be sure to make you feel as ease.

What you have to do 

Get yourself over to the Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland and arrive at The Cloughorr Estate. Whether you are driving from within Northern Ireland or Ireland, or you are arriving from the UK mainland, we always recommend the scenic route.  There are flights or boats aplenty to and from Belfast City airport and Belfast International. There are also choices of rental cars, taxis and public transport. We have ample parking space on the property.
